Holy Week begins this Sunday! It is time to reflect on one of the most impactful and every-changing weeks on the world in so many ways! Jesus continues his odyssey into Jerusalem at the start of the week and brings about more of the presence of God that has ever been felt before in that place!

Then comes his last moments with his loved disciples gathered around a table of feast and communion, celebrating God's sacrifices for us.

Then Friday, when it is finished; Jesus is arrested and led through the streets with terrible burdens and torture; he is crucified and left for dead on a cross, bringing every witness to a state of shock and sadness. Our worst fears realized, all seems lost.

But two days later...the miracle...the wonderful happening...the realization that death has lost its sting...that the glory of God has defeated the night...the defiance of all time and space...the resurrection! Christ returns in all his triumph and victory but in the most loving and enlightening way! This is the miracle everyone! This is the ultimate resurrection! This is God telling us that our sins are forgiven, and to be blessed, and that we can face tomorrow, and that all fear is gone, and that he holds the future, and that life is worth the living...
